The SchäferRolls U.size 20 glue press roll cover impresses with perfect tear resistance, recovery properties and an extremely long service life.

Our customer, a manufacturer of speciality papers in north-west Germany, wanted to reduce frequent production interruptions and improve product quality by ensuring consistent and reliable paper web running. The goal was ambitious: trouble-free operation of the glue press and a doubling of the cover service life compared to the glue press roll covers used previously.

Our recommendation: After a detailed analysis by our engineers on site, we recommended our customer use the U.size 20 roll cover, which was specially developed for such tasks.
