Maintenance/Plant Mechanic (m/f/x)

As a maintenanceme mechanic [m/f/x] with a hands-on mentality, you ensure that the supply technology and machines of our roll cover production run as planned and that production can continue undisturbed. You know the inner workings of our technical equipment and are on hand with knowledge and tools in the event of malfunctions and failures in order to avoid longer downtimes.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• supervision, monitoring and maintenance of technical supply systems (e.g. steam and compressed air generation, heating, sanitary and air conditioning systems) incl. regular visual inspections, ensuring compliance with maintenance and inspection deadlines as well as coordination of work by external companies
• independent installation and repairing of pipelines incl. corresponding welding work
• mechanical maintenance and assembly work, troubleshooting and repair on existing production plants including preventive maintenance
• active cooperation and support in internal and cross-divisional projects as well as in the assembly and start-up of new equipment.

• successfully completed training as a plant fitter (m/f/x), plant mechanic (m/f/x), industrial mechanic (m/f/x), pipe fitter (m/f/x) or comparable training
• knowledge in the areas of supply, steam and welding technology as well as pipeline construction, ideally with further training as a boiler attendant
• at least two years of professional experience in a comparable position in the maintenance of production plants or in machine and plant construction
• good written and spoken German
• customer and service orientation as well as understanding of process and production interrelationships
• reliability, independent and careful way of working
