These are your tasks
As a technically experienced machine operator (m/f/d) in our modern roll production, you will take on a responsible role in operating and monitoring our covering systems, ensuring smooth production of high-quality roll covers.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- setting up, starting, operating, and monitoring sandblasting, coating, and extrusion systems
- independently preparing and covering roll bodies according to production and drawing specifications
- inspecting finished workpieces using standard measuring and testing methods while adhering to quality standards and documenting results
- monitoring process parameters, identifying disruptions in the manufacturing process, adjusting and optimizing programs accordingly, and improving production workflows and machine technology in coordination with development and process engineers
- complying with occupational safety and security regulations
Your skills
- successfully completed vocational training, such as Chemical Production Specialist, Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology, Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d), or a comparable technical or manual profession
- experience in operating production systems, preferably in rubber or plastics processing, is an advantage
- manual dexterity, technical understanding, and a reliable, quality-conscious, and team-oriented way of working
- proficient German language skills (spoken and written)
- willingness to work in shifts
