To strengthen our roll surface finishing team, we are looking for an Industrial Mechanic/Machinist (m/f/x) to operate CNC machining equipment at the earliest possible date.

As a hands-on employee [m/f/d] in the finishing department of our modern roll production, you handle workpieces weighing several tonnes with confidence, controll large CNC processing machines and at the same time master manufacturing tolerances in the µ range.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• programming, setting up and monitoring of CNC-controlled processing machines (turning/grinding/multi-spindle drilling machines)
• independent machining of dimensionally and geometrically accurate workpieces in single-item production according to manufacturing and drawing specifications
• correction and optimisation of the corresponding programmes and machine technology
• checking the machined workpieces with common measuring and testing methods in line with the exisiting quality requirements

• successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic / machinist / tool mechanic / CNC lathe operator (m/f/x) or a comparable qualification in the technical field
• work experience in metal processing or on CNC-controlled processing machines is an advantage
• good knowledge of CNC programming and the use of common machine controls
